Infrastructure & deployment

Launch should not be a leap of faith.

Make releases repeatable with configured environments, access controls and a rollback plan your team can follow.

The bottleneck

The application works on a laptop, but deployment depends on one person and a list of remembered steps. We work on the environments, access and release path that let the product run outside development.

What we can build

  • A review of runtime requirements and current environments
  • Deployment configuration and service connections
  • Access, secrets and environment separation within the agreed scope
  • Operational checks, rollback steps and handover documentation

A possible workflow

A web application moves through a test environment before release. Configuration is defined, connections are checked and the team knows how to investigate a failed deployment or return to the previous version.

What we agree first

We agree hosting constraints, data location, expected load and ownership. Hosting fees, incident response, backup requirements and maintenance need an explicit scope; a deployment alone is not a 24/7 support agreement.

Before you commit

Can you work with our current hosting?
We review the platform, access and application requirements first. If the current environment fits, we improve the deployment there. A move is considered only when there is a concrete requirement it cannot meet.
How much will my project cost?
Know the cost before you commit. We begin by defining the first version: its functionality, integrated systems, and validation methods. Then we agree on the budget before development commences. Any paid discovery or assessment is agreed separately prior to that work.
How long does development take?
We agree a timeline for the first usable version, including the access and feedback we need from your team. Larger projects can be released in stages, rather than keeping everything behind a single launch date.
Do I need a finished specification?
No. Tell us what happens today, where work gets stuck and what a better result looks like. Screenshots, examples and a list of tools are useful. We can define the scope and acceptance criteria together.

Bring us the part that gets in the way.

Show us where the work gets stuck. We’ll discuss what can be fixed, what needs building and where to start.
